The Council of Ministers on Wednesday amended the reward scheme for State Police employees, which had been approved on the basis of the violent protests taking place in Tirana. With the new changes, the number of beneficiaries increases from 2,750 to 2,821 employees.
In parallel with the increase in the number of beneficiaries, the financial fund allocated for the reward also rises.
From the 740,080,000 lekë initially set, the fund reaches 759,187,520 lekë.
The new decision enters into force immediately and will be published in the Official Gazette.
The changes thus affect both the number of employees receiving the reward and the total fund dedicated to their payment.
