The Minister of Health and Social Protection, Klodiana Spahiu, announced that at the Cardiology Service of QSUT, the life of a 29-year-old man was saved. He arrived in critical condition as a result of an acute heart attack.
Spahiu said the 29-year-old was saved thanks to the successful intervention of the Hemodynamics team, which applied 15 electric shocks and performed urgent procedures to unblock the main artery of the heart.
She also said the young man is out of danger, under the care of doctors, while she also thanked doctors Donald Mançe, Gentian Mehmeti and the entire medical staff for this achievement.
”At the Cardiology Service of QSUT, where professionalism and timely intervention saved the life of a 29-year-old man, who arrived in critical condition as a result of an acute heart attack and today is out of danger, thanks to the successful intervention of the Hemodynamics team.
After 15 electric shocks and urgent intervention to unblock the main artery of the heart, the young man is recovering under the care of doctors.
