Sali Berisha has accused Prime Minister Edi Rama of carrying out police violence against students protesting for their rights.
The leader of the Democratic Party, addressing students, educators and the entire Albanian people in a message, denounced that a group of people, supposedly protesters, who emerged from the Ministry of Interior, had a plan to attack businesses, while the plan, according to him, was foiled by the media that documented this fact with footage.
”A group of people with double masks were filmed yesterday coming out of the Ministry of Interior with their faces covered by a black mask, and the other mask, calling for Rama to be jailed and then to storm and attack businesses.
It was thanks to the media that caught in the act this terrorist group that came out of the premises of the Ministry of Interior, that prevented the tragedy staged by Rama. I call on citizens to join the students today against the godfather of power. The solution is, Rama must resign”, he said.
