Sali Berisha says the largest national protest will take place on Saturday, in support of the students and high school students who are protesting. “Saturday is the day of the largest national protest, called in support of the student protest and the high school students,” Berisha declared.
Asked by reporters whether the involvement of the Democratic Party could harm the protest, Berisha rejected this claim and stressed that the opposition is supporting the student movement.
“These people who think this way are lickspittles of Edi Rama. These are lickspittles of Edi Rama. They compare the incomparable. And to compare the executive power with the moral power of the opposition, you are a political idiot, mostly you are a lickspittle and a slave of the government. Incomparables are not compared.”
He described the latest elections as an “electoral farce” while accusing the government of corruption and rejecting claims that the opposition lost the elections.
