After seven days of violent protests, Prime Minister Edi Rama today found a distinctive way to repeat his call to talk. Several chairs resembling those used inside the institution have been placed in front of the government building.
Prime Minister Rama personally left the government building to place on them the inscription “dialogue”.
This symbolic action comes after Rama’s and ministers’ repeated appeals for protesters to engage in dialogue about their demands.

However, the protesters responded immediately. On a letter placed on one of the chairs, they wrote the message “Resign”, demanding that the head of government step down from his post.
