Mayor of Tirana Erion Veliaj has responded following his transfer to the Fier prison.
In a public letter, Veliaj writes:
“Placement in isolation for 10 days, without water or windows, without medical care, refusal of food, no reason given for the transfer/isolation, no phone call to family and lawyer, in the same corridor as 3 serial killers serving life sentences.”
