Activists and the head of the Democratic Party youth wing in Kruja, Aulon Kalaja, have called on Mayor Erjon Veliaj to urgently organize a revolt in the Fier prison against Edi Rama. According to him, there have been attempts to bring prisoners out in protest, while guards, he stressed, have taken the magazine supplies to the protest.
“I call from this studio on Erjon Veliaj: organize the revolt from the Fier prison as urgently as possible. They must come out. There have been attempts for prisoners to come out in protest. It is time, he is against Edi Rama at this moment. He has political debts, and personal ones too. And from the Fier prison a domino effect can follow. According to the information I have, the prison guards have emptied the prison magazines and taken the supplies to the protest”, he stressed on A2 CNN.
For him, the transfer of Mayor Veliaj from the Durrës prison to Fier is political revenge by Rama, after he spoke about the student protests in Serbia and the fall of Vučić.
“Veliaj came out and spoke about the protest, that he addressed Rama, and see what they did to him? They took him out of the Durrës prison in rags and sent him to Fier. It is revenge. For the young boys they paid 2,500 euros to break bones, and against Veliaj they took him out of his cell and sent him to the Fier prison”, Kalaja said.
