A kindergarten teacher in Korçë has been arrested by police after she was suspected of using violence against a 4-year-old child in the kindergarten where he attended. The case was reported by the mother of the minor, who noticed that for several days the boy had not been in good condition.
According to preliminary information, the 4-year-old had told his mother that he had been hit by the teacher. Following the complaint, police began verifications and also examined the kindergarten’s video footage.
At the conclusion of the investigative actions, the teacher was arrested for the criminal offense of “Mistreatment of minors”. The case materials have been referred to the Korçë Prosecutor’s Office for the continuation of legal proceedings.
