The situation on “Dëshmorët e Kombit” Boulevard has become tense as police continue efforts to disperse the protesters. Officers have used a water cannon, directing jets of water at citizens gathered in the protest.
Police forces have also blocked the area near the Prime Minister’s Office, while protesters have moved from that space to another area.
Today’s protest began at 09:00, at the same time as the start of parliamentary proceedings, when students and citizens took to the streets to express their positions.
Tensions have also been recorded inside Parliament, where discussions between the parties have focused on the protest and its developments.
