Students and teachers have gathered in front of the Parliament building after police removed the metal fences that surrounded the area.
The protesters, who have been assembling since 10:00 a.m., are chanting slogans against the country’s political class. “Rama to prison, Berisha to prison!”, “You don’t represent us!” and “Your time is up!” are among their chants.
Earlier, police had erected metal fences along the perimeter of Parliament as a security measure to prevent possible incidents and attacks against deputies.
