There is no calm in Tirana. State Police forces have sprayed chemical-laced water toward students, even though there was no provocation. Officers attempted to forcibly remove several young women, who refuse to leave. Protesters chanted in unison “You are animals” and “Take off your caps.” Water cannons have sprayed chemical-laced water in extremely large quantities. Police are also using tear gas spray against the female protesters.
