Two girls walking on Boulevard “Dëshmorët e Kombit” claim they were sexually harassed by police officers. One of the girls, speaking to A2CNN, said the officers had provoked them.
By chance present on the scene, the head of the Democratic Party branch in Kruja, Aulon Kalaja, intervened to denounce their behavior. Kalaja was then taken into custody for resistance by the officers and released afterward following the intervention of the Commissariat No. 1 chief, Ervin Hasrama, to whom he presented the video.
Kalaja says this action is shameful and that he will file a complaint with the SPAK (Special Prosecution Against Organized Crime and Corruption) and other bodies regarding the unlawful conduct of police employees. He also claims that Democratic Party activist Mariglend Doçi was assaulted during the verbal altercation.
