Democratic Party leader Sali Berisha has condemned the violence against protesters, saying that one of them was struck and lost consciousness.
In a statement, Berisha said that PD deputy Dr. Zija Ismaili provided first aid to the injured protester.
Berisha strongly condemned what he described as state violence against peaceful protesters.
“I condemn in the strongest terms the brutal state violence against peaceful protesters!”, Berisha said in his statement.
