Prime Minister Edi Rama has once again placed the “dialogue chairs” in front of the Prime Minister’s Office today, inviting protesters to sit down and discuss.
“There are 1001 dissatisfactions, troubles and problems, reasons to protest. But no reason justifies violence. Every reason is one more argument in favor of dialogue between people who share the same homeland and want the same thing: to make Albania better.
Violence is a punishable crime. Yesterday, dialogue was met with violence. Today, dialogue is here again. Every perpetrator of violence will receive the deserved response. The response will be legal and financial. Whoever destroys will pay. Albania belongs to everyone“, Rama said.
One day earlier, the head of government did the same, but the protesters rejected the invitation to dialogue, tearing up the papers and overturning the chairs.
