Dear citizens, dear small and medium business entrepreneurs in Albania, the Small and Medium Business Association of Albania calls on all small and medium businesses, members and non-members of the association, to continue to support and join the protests taking place in Albania.
We call on every entrepreneur to show solidarity and join the students, civil society and Albanian citizens taking part in these protests. This is not only a matter for today. It is an issue directly linked to the future of our businesses, our families and our children.
The Small and Medium Business Association, in coordination with civil society and other organizations, has been consistently present at protests and in public squares, raising its voice against corruption, abuse of power and policies that, in our assessment, have harmed business and Albanian society.
We believe the current situation of business and society requires civic response, solidarity and responsibility. Therefore, once again, we call on all businesses in Albania to join the students and citizens in protest tomorrow, Saturday.
We call on businesses that are able to support the protesters with the products and services needed during the protest.
We also call on businesses across the country to lower their shutters during the designated protest hours as a sign of solidarity with Albanian protesters.
This is an important moment for business, for citizens and for the future of the country.
