Following tensions and physical clashes during last week’s plenary session, Socialist Party MP Ervin Hoxha was seen on Monday talking with his colleagues from the Democratic Party.
The former deputy minister met outside the premises of the Assembly Presidency with Democratic MPs Luçiano Boçi, Luan Baçi and Xhelal Mziu. The meeting comes just days after a heated clash between representatives of the majority and the opposition in the Assembly chamber.
The session last Thursday was marked by numerous tensions, after opposition MPs demanded that the discussions focus on the protests held in the capital. The debate between the sides escalated into a physical clash.
Hoxha was also involved in this incident, when he had a confrontation with Democratic MP from Korçë, Fidel Kreka. The latter pushed Hoxha and struck him with his voting card.
