The chill in temperatures in the mountainous areas of Kukës district has brought the first snowfall, replacing rain. At elevations above 1,000 meters above sea level, snow has covered several villages, including Novosej, Shishtavec, Borje, Turaj, Brekijë and Zapod. So far no problems have been reported, while the snow depth has reached up to 5 centimeters.
