Russian President Vladimir Putin has agreed to resume trilateral negotiations between Russia, Ukraine and the United States next month, aimed at ending the war in Ukraine.
The news was announced by Putin’s foreign policy adviser, Yuri Ushakov, after a meeting held on Wednesday in Saint Petersburg between the Russian leader and Steve Witkoff, envoy of U.S. President Donald Trump.
According to Ushakov, talks are expected to resume after November 10 and will focus on creating a security system for Russia and Ukraine after the conflict ends.
The meeting between Putin and Witkoff took place at a time when U.S. President Donald Trump is pressuring Kyiv to reach an agreement that would bring an end to the fighting.
