Bedri Hamza has announced his irrevocable resignation as chairman of the Democratic Party of Kosovo (PDK). He notified members of the party’s Presidency of the decision this Wednesday, paving the way for a new electoral process within the party.
At a press conference, Hamza said that every leader must know not only when to take on responsibility, but also when the time has come to step aside.
He stressed that he had taken on the leadership of the PDK out of responsibility to the party and not for personal political ambitions. According to him, during this period he has focused on preserving unity within the political force.
