The violent acts of some protesters have provoked a strong reaction from Prime Minister Rama. He stated that for individuals documented as having carried out violent acts such as arson, looting, and throwing stones at police, a legal initiative will be undertaken to ban their travel to EU countries. In other words, at border crossings the police will not allow them to leave the country. In addition, it will be decided that they must pay for the damage they have caused to private property and state institutions.
This measure is expected to be finalized in the coming weeks.
