The ceremony for signing the official agreement on our country’s participation in the International Stabilization Force (ISF) in Gaza was held today at the headquarters of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Albania.
The agreement was signed by the Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Albania, Lieutenant General Arben Kingji, and the ISF Commander, Major General Jasper Jeffers.
Attending the ceremony were Minister of Defence Ermal Nufi, as well as the U.S. Ambassador to Tirana, Eric Wendt.
Regarding this agreement, Minister Nufi stated that, as a founding member of the Board of Peace, Albania reaffirms its commitment to contribute to international efforts to establish peace, guarantee security and create conditions for lasting stability in Gaza.
