Clashes between police and protesters have been recorded at “Skanderbeg” Square, where a “barrage” of firecrackers and Molotov cocktails were thrown toward police officers. During the tensions, some of the officers were seen equipped with wooden batons, while the situation in the square remains tense. The incident follows the protest in the capital, where earlier Molotov cocktails, firecrackers and tear gas were reported, as well as clashes in several areas of Tirana.
