PS deputy Pirro Vengu has responded with an ironic tone to the Democratic Party’s opposition and to the parliamentary group’s demand for the creation of a “caretaker” government.
In a message published on social networks, Vengu criticizes the opposition’s political strategy, linking the demand for a caretaker government to its aim, in his view, of bringing the DP into governance.
“Meanwhile, the DP parliamentary group is calling for a ‘caretaker’ government. Neither technical, nor technocratic: caretaker. So, a government with the DP inside”, the socialist deputy writes.
Vengu also focuses on the role of Sali Berisha and his relationship with the protests and young people. Using a metaphor from fairy tales, he compares Berisha to the wolf who tries to win trust in order to be let through the door, claiming that young people are being used as political cover. “He wants youth as a mask, protest as a ladder and government as shelter”, Vengu says.

Today, two messages that should be read together.
The opposition that ended up in Lanë and has been turned away several times from the main door of representation now wants to enter the protest through the window.
Meanwhile, the DP parliamentary group is demanding a caretaker government. Neither technical, nor technocratic: caretaker. So, a government with the DP inside.
And Sali, like the wolf in the fairy tale who powders his paw so they will open the door, tries to present himself as the embodiment of youth. He wants youth as a mask, protest as a ladder and government as shelter.
An opposition that is afraid of protest, but wants to take shelter in government.
