The Special Prosecution Office has charged former Albania international footballer Igli Tare.
Igli Tare appeared early this morning at SPAK. Tare is charged with money laundering, after he was allegedly concealed in his name 2 villas belonging to former Deputy Prime Minister Belinda Balluku, one in Dhërmi and one in Palasë.
As part of the investigation, several businessmen who have benefited from tenders are expected to be charged today as well. Their names and the criminal offenses they are suspected of have not been disclosed in the information released.
