Today has been a day of good news. After the passage of the first-ever budget project in history exceeding 10 billion euros, good news also came from Rome.
Erjon Vishkulli has successfully undergone surgery at the “Gemelli” clinic in Rome, which saved the boy’s eye.
On my own behalf, on behalf of the Albanian government, and with deep gratitude, I thanked Professor Stanislao Rizzo, who, with great professionalism, dedication and human sensitivity, successfully carried out the surgery, while the government also approved financial support for Erjon today.
Beyond knowledge and professional skill, it is precisely this human side, the union of forces in humanism, that makes such situations so special.
I wish Erjon a full recovery and strength in every next step. The success of the surgery is good news, while the path toward restoring the light of his eye will continue with patience and confidence.
Sincere gratitude to Professor Rizzo for what he has done, and congratulations to Erjon’s family and friends
