The Ethics Secretariat has accepted the Socialist Party’s request and has suspended Sali Berisha, leader of the Democratic Party (PD), from plenary sessions and parliamentary committees for 10 days.
At the meeting held this Friday, the secretariat also suspended Bledion Nallbati, Ivi Kasa, Blendi Himçi, Xhelal Mziu and Albana Vokshi for 60 days, following the chaos and tensions in yesterday’s parliamentary session.
Unlike Berisha, the suspension of the 5 PD deputies is for 60 days. Meanwhile, the secretariat has pardoned deputy Klodiana Çapja, not suspending her for 60 days as the PS had requested.
