Democratic Party MP Gjin Gjoni experienced eye irritation during the protest as a result of tear gas fired by the State Police.
Gjoni tried to relieve the irritation in his eyes by rubbing them and splashing water on them. The situation appears to have caused the MP discomfort, as he was seen tending to his eyes in an effort to cope with the effects of the gas.
Several other people gathered near him, standing around the MP to help. They tried to assist him at the moment he was dealing with the eye irritation.
The use of tear gas by the Police has been part of the developments during today’s protest.
