The Mayor of Tirana, Erion Veliaj, has decided to dismiss the two deputy mayors, Vasilika Vjero and Ilir Mëngra, and to appoint Etleva Bisha as deputy mayor of the municipality.
Etleva Bisha comes to this position with a prominent political and professional profile. A co-founder of FRESH, with a long-standing commitment to the Socialist Party, she was part of the reform of social services during Erion Veliaj’s tenure as minister.
In recent years, Bisha has consolidated her profile as an expert in local government, working with some of the most important international organizations operating in Albania.
