The well-known singer Ingrit Gjoni was a guest last evening on the show “Live me Luizin”, where she spoke about her relationship with Çiljeta Xhilaga. During the interview, Luiz Ejlli played a game with her, showing photos that she had to identify through his descriptions.
When Çiljeta’s photo appeared on screen, Luiz asked Ingrit whether their friendship had withstood the test of time.
Gjoni said that their relationship continues, although there have been some changes. She stated that Çiljeta remains a dear friend, but now spends her holidays with other friends.
“Yes, it has withstood, with a few small deviations, because she has made closer friends in her own life”, the singer said, treating the situation with humor.
Later, Ejlli asked why the public had once seen them as rivals. Ingrit Gjoni explained that in the early days of their careers they were competitors, as they performed in different clubs and often one of them would sing at one venue while the other sang at the same place the next day.
Another interesting moment of the interview was the lack of mutual following on Instagram. Asked about this, the singer revealed with humor that she had decided to remove Çiljeta from the list of people she follows, since Çiljeta had not chosen to go on vacation with her.
“To be honest, I removed her from Instagram. Just the other day we were together for dinner. But I’d rather remove her, since she didn’t choose to go on vacation with me. I’m very upset”, she said with irony.
According to Gjoni, Çiljeta has not removed her from Instagram, but she asks her to follow her again, telling her: “Make me famous”.
The singer’s account brought laughter in the studio, while she made it clear that, despite the changes and jokes, the friendship between them continues.
