From artist Shkurte Fejza Behluli
DEAR PRIME MINISTER, MR. EDI RAMA
I address you with respect and with the heart of an Albanian artist, but above all with the feeling of a mother who wishes to see the youth of her country live with hope, dignity and faith in the future.
Albania is greater than each of us. It is our common home, the legacy of our ancestors and the dream of our children.
When students raise their voices about their concerns, let us listen to them attentively, without prejudice and without seeing them as adversaries. They are the sons and daughters of Albania, the youth on whom the future of this country rests. Behind every student who seeks a solution stands a family with hopes, sacrifices and dreams.
Mr. Prime Minister, sometimes the greatness of leadership lies not only in the decisions that are made, but also in the willingness to listen, to understand and to find the hand of reconciliation.
I ask you to find a path of understanding, a fair and reasonable solution, one that gives students hope and families peace. A solution that does not deepen division, but builds bridges of trust between institutions and citizens.
No victory is more valuable than the well-being of the people, and no pride is greater than that which springs from listening to the voice of citizens.
As an artist, I have learned that music can unite people even when words are not enough. Today, my wish is that words too may serve as a bridge of unity, not as a cause of division.
Albania needs calm, wisdom, justice and generosity of spirit. It needs adults to listen to young people and hope not to fade in their eyes.
With respect for institutions, with love for the people, and with the prayer that a good solution be found for everyone.
May God bless Albania and every Albanian who wishes a better future for their children!
