Barcelona is preparing a revolution in the upcoming transfer market, aiming to secure a top-level striker. According to reports, the Catalan leadership is considering the possibility of selling three important players from the squad: Gavi, Alejandro Balde and Frenkie de Jong.
Sporting director Deco aims to raise around €150 million from their departure, an amount that would help the club finance a major reinforcement in the attacking line.
Gavi’s market value is estimated at around €50 million, Alejandro Balde’s at €40 million, while Frenkie de Jong is valued at around €60 million. In total, the sale of the three could provide Barcelona with the required sum.
The main target for the attacking line is Harry Kane. The English striker of Bayern Munich is one of the names favored by the Catalan leadership, who want to bring him to Camp Nou.
However, Barcelona are not expected to take concrete steps toward his transfer if Kane decides to renew his contract with the Bavarian club, which expires in June 2027.
We recall that the Catalans also tried last summer to secure the services of Julián Álvarez from Atlético Madrid, but the deal failed due to the Madrid club’s refusal to allow the Argentine striker to leave.
