The ninth round of the “Abissnet Superiore” championship delivered interesting results and changes in the race for the top of the table. The main focus was on the clash between Egnatia and Teuta, where the defending champions managed to win 1-0 at “Egnatia Arena”.
This victory proved decisive for the Rrogozhina side, which now climbs to first place in the standings with 21 points. On the other side, Teuta remains in second place with 20 points, just one step behind the leader, confirming the tight race between the two teams.
There were also surprises in the other matches of this week. Vora managed to defeat Vllaznia 2-1, while AF Elbasani took three important points at home, winning 2-1 against Partizani.
Meanwhile, Skënderbeu and Laçi drew 1-1 in Korçë. The Tirana vs Dinamo City derby also ended in the same 1-1 result.
Following these results, Egnatia leads the championship with 21 points, followed by Teuta with 20 points.
