Albanian boxer Nelson Hysa is continuing his intensive preparations ahead of the important bout on November 28, in which he will face Agit Kabayev in Düsseldorf, Germany, in a duel for the WBC world heavyweight championship title.
On the eve of the fight, the 42-year-old has shared several messages from his training camp on social media, expressing confidence that everything is going according to plan. Hysa aims to crown this challenge with a historic success, linking the fight to the symbolism of Albania’s Independence Day.
“On Albania’s Independence Day, I will step into the ring for my country, for my people. My dream is to bring the heavyweight world title back to my nation and carve my name into history,” the Albanian boxer wrote.
Hysa has also posted photos from his training sessions, stressing that the work does not stop and that the goal demands maximum dedication.
“The work does not stop. The goal is great, so the work must be even greater. One dream, one flag, one story. My time is coming,” he says.
In another message, the boxer thanked everyone supporting him on this journey and also made an appeal to Albanian fans to attend the stadium.
“I am training hard every day for this fight. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for all the support you are giving me! And one more thing… don’t forget the red and black flags and the plis caps,” wrote Nelson Hysa.
