1,000 candidates are still in the running to become part of the State Police, out of 1,300 who had initially applied. The candidates are undergoing medical, physical and psychological tests to be admitted to the General Patrol. State Police Director General Skënder Hita visited the Security Academy, where he met and talked with the candidates who continue the competition.
“I thank you for the interest and trust you have shown in the State Police by choosing to compete to become part of it. The high number of applicants, around 1,300 at the initial stage and now around 1,000 after the first phase, is a positive indicator and a motivation to continue strengthening human capacities and building an increasingly professional police force. I wish you success in the stages of the competition and I encourage you to commit yourselves to the fullest to qualify within the set quotas. I assure you that the process until the end will be fully transparent and will guarantee equal opportunities for everyone”, said Hita.
The Police Director urged the candidates to see this opportunity as a privilege to prove their abilities and willingness to serve citizens. ”Give your maximum and see this opportunity as a privilege to demonstrate your skills and your willingness to become part of our great family, the State Police, and to serve citizens with professionalism and responsibility”, Hita concluded.
