Elbasan Municipality grants rent bonuses to 15 families from the building that was destroyed by an explosion and fire

Pursuant to Law No. 45/2019 on Civil Emergencies and DCM No. 384 dated 12.06.2019, the Municipality of Elbasan is preparing all the necessary documentation for rent-subsidy assistance for the 15 families affected by the explosion in the “Qemal Stafa” neighborhood.

Immediately after the expert report from the Institute of Construction arrives, the Municipal Council will be asked to process the rent-subsidy assistance through an expedited procedure.

Currently, under the supervision of firefighting forces, residents are retrieving their personal belongings from the apartments.

The Social Service at the Elbasan Municipality has also made social workers and psychologists available to stay with residents.
