This Saturday, the next national protest is expected to take place in front of the Ministry of Education and the Prime Minister’s Office.
Democratic Party MP in Shkodra, Kliti Hoti, said Shkodra will stand in support of the students, who, according to him, are demanding only political rotation and the removal of the government.
“The support of all Shkodra residents for the students at this stage is a necessity. The more we are supporting the students, the more steadfast they will be in their demands, which after all are the demands of all Albanians. It is one demand: political rotation and change of this government. This is what Albanians want, this is what the students want, and we must support them. Shkodra is also ready to deliver the final message to this corrupt government.
He will do whatever is in his power to intimidate the students. But the opposite effect is happening. The number of students is growing, the number of Albanians supporting the students is growing, and we are in the final steps of this government,” Hoti said, among other things.
Meanwhile, some Democrats have set off from Shkodra to Tirana to be part of the protest.
