Erjon Vishkulli, the young man who was hit in the eye with a projectile by police during Saturday’s protest in Tirana, has arrived in Rome, where he is expected to undergo another surgical intervention. Vishkulli himself announced this in a message in which he expresses hope for the upcoming operation and confidence that everything will go well.
”I have just arrived at the Rome hospital ‘San Carlo’, where I will undergo one of the next operations! God works miracles! ALBANIA OF THE ALBANIANS”.
Meanwhile, shortly before, Prime Minister Edi Rama stated that ‘‘the initiative for specialized medical care was not taken by “persons”; I personally took it, and his trip to Rome by medical aircraft, as well as covering the expenses, were made possible precisely by the STATE and by no one else”.
