Aulon Kalaja, head of the Democratic Party in Kruja, denounced the case of a girl who has been charged with setting fire to Police Station No. 3, even though, according to him, the station was not burned.
Kalaja: This girl, who could be your sister, was assaulted inside Police Station No. 3. I have not verified the case, because she also wrote to me the name of the person who beat her, but this has been taken to court. This woman is accused of setting fire to the station. This one and another girl. Two girls are accused of setting fire to Police Station 3.
Basha: What’s the problem here?
Kalaja: It was sent to court for setting fire to Police Station No. 3 at a time when the station was not on fire. It was in the morning, while the attack on the station happened in the afternoon. And it was seen that police inside Police Station No. 3 were hitting with pyrotechnic materials, and here I want to ask you, since you are an expert: are pyrotechnic devices allowed in Albania?
Basha: I know that you will say that the 6 police officers who were knocked to the ground there also beat themselves. You cannot defend an attack on a police station.
