State Police employees will receive higher salaries starting January 1, 2027. The most significant increase will be for employees with the rank of inspector, whose base salary for rank will be increased by 20,000 lekë per month.
From the current 73,000 lekë, the base salary of an inspector is projected to reach 93,000 lekë, marking an increase of about 27.4%.
Changes will also apply to employees with higher ranks. For deputy commissioners, commissioners, chief commissioners and directors, the supplement to the base salary will range from 10,000 to 15,000 lekë, depending on rank.
According to projections, about 8,500 State Police employees will benefit from this measure.
It should be emphasized that the figures made public refer to the base salary for rank and not the final amount employees will receive in their accounts, as this value does not include supplements for length of service, per diems, or payments for overtime. To implement these changes, the draft budget has allocated a fund of 36.7 billion lekë for the law enforcement sector.
