The “Martyrs of the Nation” Boulevard is already enveloped in a thick cloud of black smoke, caused by a burning car with French plates, after Molotov cocktails were thrown by protesters.
The flames have not been extinguished by the water truck.
Meanwhile, some protesters have picked up fireworks, which they are using to attack officers.
The clash with stones and fireworks, high-pressure water and tear gas between protesters and police remains highly dangerous.
