The head of the Democratic Party’s parliamentary group, Gazment Bardhi, accuses Prime Minister Edi Rama of his stance on violence against children, students and young people.
In a video from today’s plenary session, where there was physical clash between MPs, Bardhi himself, who has been excluded from parliamentary proceedings for 60 days, stresses that responsibility for such acts cannot be avoided and that violence must not be normalized, while warning of the risk of further clashes in Albanian society.
”You cannot abuse children, students and young people, and then come to Parliament as if nothing has happened. Responsibility cannot be avoided and violence cannot be normalized. With this approach, Edi Rama is leading Albania toward an increasingly dangerous confrontation, the consequences of which could be severe for the whole society”,-writes Bardhi.
