Protesters marched in the rain and gathered in front of the Prime Minister’s Office.
After the Ministry of Education, students marched toward “Dëshmorët e Kombit” Boulevard, passing near the headquarters of the Socialist Party (PS), but there were no incidents.
Meanwhile, the situation in front of the Prime Minister’s Office became tense, as some protesters threw Molotov cocktails toward police officers.
Following the incidents, police began intervening with water cannons, while through megaphones protesters were urged to stop the violent actions and leave the perimeter of the building.
“Please, step away from the violent actions. The police will act,” was the message delivered by officers.
Two more water cannon trucks have approached the area, while the situation remains tense. Currently, two police water cannon trucks have been positioned on both sides of the perimeter, accompanied by numerous police forces.
