The situation in front of the Prime Minister’s Office has begun to escalate, after some protesters threw Molotov cocktails at police officers.
Following the incidents, police began intervening with water cannon trucks, while through loudspeakers they called on the protesters to stop the violent actions and leave the perimeter of the building.
“Please stop the violent actions and leave. The police will act”, was the call relayed by the officers.
Two more water cannon trucks have also approached the area, while the situation remains tense. Water cannon trucks and numerous police forces have been positioned on both sides of the perimeter, monitoring the situation.
