The Assembly will hold its next plenary session on Thursday (October 29) as student protests continue across the country.
Among the main items are an interpellation of the Minister of Tourism, Culture and Sports, Blendi Gonxhja, the review of draft laws on the Bank of Albania, the Fiscal Council and consumer protection, as well as amendments to legislation on business, commercial companies, and the administration of seized and confiscated assets.
Tensions and clashes occurred during the previous session. The Ethics Secretariat expelled six Democratic Party (PD) deputies for 60 days: Flamur Noka, Belind Këlliçi, Edi Paloka, Fidel Kreka, Luçiano Boçi and Besart Xhaferri. Earlier, Gazment Bardhi and Klevis Balliu had also been expelled.
