The situation at the protest in front of the Ministry of Education has escalated after some protesters set fire to two garbage bins and pushed them toward police forces.
During the tensions, other objects were also thrown at officers, while police responded with pepper spray and tear gas.
Clashes marked another moment of tension during the gathering, which began with a student protest and was later accompanied by clashes between them and supporters of the Democratic Party.
