The Assembly is expected to convene this Thursday in plenary session, while students have announced a protest in front of the institution’s premises.
Prime Minister Edi Rama will not be present, as he is in Budva, where he will take part in the Berlin Process Summit.
Deputies will convene at 10:00 in a session where debates on the protests and the police response are expected to dominate.
The first item on the agenda provides for an urgent interpellation with Interior Minister Ervin Demo, requested by the Democratic Party.
The session comes nine days after protests began, while the interpellation with Minister Demo had been requested earlier by the opposition, but was postponed on the grounds that he had just taken office and needed time to familiarise himself with the issues raised.
According to the agenda, approved by order of the Speaker of the Assembly, Niko Peleshi, on 20 October, other interpellations are also scheduled.
