Democratic Party MP Gjin Gjoni has been taken to hospital after experiencing health problems following the use of pepper spray by State Police during today’s national protest.
Gjoni became involved in a confrontation with police officers after asking them for clarification. During the situation, police used pepper spray toward the MP, who then did not feel well and received medical assistance at a hospital.
The use of pepper water and irritating substances also caused health problems for other protesters. News24 journalist Klevin Muka was also among those affected during the protest.
