The Parliamentary Group Leader of the Socialist Party, Taulant Balla, has reacted to the new law on assemblies, stressing that the freedom of protest must be guaranteed, but without undermining the rights of other citizens.
In his message, Balla emphasizes that violence cannot be justified and that those who incite or cause violent acts must face the law.
“The new law on assemblies will guarantee the freedom of protest, but violence and the infringement of the rights of other citizens cannot be justified. Whoever calls for or creates violence must face the law”, Balla said.
