Tensions arose during the protest in front of the Ministry of Education, after Democratic Party MPs and their supporters approached the area where the student protesters were gathered.
One of the students tried to approach the Democratic Party representatives, asking them to leave and not to take part in the student protest.
Meanwhile, chants of “Rama in jail, Berisha in jail” were heard from the crowd, expressing opposition to both Prime Minister Edi Rama and the leader of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha.
The situation created tension for several moments, while the protest continues in front of the Ministry of Education under the presence of police forces.
