The head of the Democratic Party’s parliamentary group, Gazment Bardhi, has reacted harshly to the State Police Director, Skënder Hitaj, accusing him of assault and provocation against students and citizens on Bulevard.
In his message, Bardhi warns Hitaj that he will be held responsible for his actions, while criticizing the way, in his view, the police are treating protesters.
“Skënder Hitaj, you will answer personally for the assault and the thuggish provocation you are carrying out against students and citizens on Bulevard”, Bardhi wrote.
He accuses the police director of using force against young Albanians and warns that support for Prime Minister Edi Rama and Belinda Balluku will not spare him from responsibility.
“Not even Edi Rama or Belinda Balluku can save you. Their fate has been sealed, and yours is being written together with theirs,” Bardhi said in his reaction.
